Matcha is the powdered green tea. It is served in the tea bowl in the traditional tea ceremony.
Here, you can experience making a bowl of your own tea in the real tearoom.
On Weekday afternoon, we are holding Matcha Whisking Experience.
Session takes about 20 minutes, you can challenge match whisking enjoying and dry sweets from the confectionary in Kyoto.
We can teach how to drink matcha in the traditional way.
Not compulsory but you may try.
Visit us to the hide-out tea room near Ginkaku-ji, the Silver Pavillion.

No dress code, jeans are all right. However, we're asking to refrain from barefeet in the tea room. Please wear socks.
In the room, no need to stay in seiza position (sitting erect with one's legs folded beneath), we have small chairs if you need. Please give your voice when you enter the tea room.
