Matcha is the powdered green tea. It is served in the tea bowls in the traditional way.

Here, you can experience matcha whisking in the real tearoom. Enjoy with the typical dry sweets from the traditional confectionary shop in Kyoto.


We teach you how to drink a bowl of matcha tea of the traditional way, and how to make tasty tea.

・Reception at the entrance.

・Go through the small tea garden to the tearoom.
・We demonstrate how to make the foamy tea.
・You enjoy the Uji matcha, with traditional dry sweets.

・Enjoy also making tea by yourselves under the guidance.

In the room, no need to stay in seiza position (sitting erect with one's legs folded beneath), we have small chairs if you need. Please give us your voice when you enter the tea room.
